Shatta & Thyme
Shatta is a spicy condiment that originated in the Middle East and is commonly used in Middle Eastern and North African cuisine. It is typically made from a blend of chili peppers, garlic, olive oil, and other ingredients such as coriander, cumin, and lemon juice.
Some versions of shatta are made with milder chili peppers, while others are made with very hot chili peppers for a more intense heat. Shatta can also be made with other ingredients such as tomatoes, bell peppers, and herbs for additional flavor and texture.
